So it begins.

It's late and I want to sleep, so I'll cut to the chase.

I turned 29 years old today. Although I had a rad weekend filled with good wishes, partying, and alcohol - the one overriding bit of unhappiness is my weight. I'm sick of being fat. For a million reasons. I have promised myself, as my most important birthday gift, to put myself and my health first and get healthy. I have a lot of weight to lose, which is annoying, but I am determined to do it.

To remind myself of why I want this so badly, I'm making a list of things I want for myself when I'm healthy. After so many failed attempts to lose weight, I know 90% of the battle is mental. So, brain, let's do this shit.

Things I am looking forward to when I'm not fat
1. Shopping in regular stores, as plus size = fashion victim, also over priced.
2. Being more confident, which makes dating less traumatic.
3. Not having a pinch runner in softball.
4. Never fearing being squished in stadiums, theaters, etc.
5. Wearing a bathing suit instead of a suit of armor to the beach.
6. Joining a basketball league.
7. Flying without being uncomfortable.
8. Being unafraid of taking pictures.
9. Looking cute at my sister's wedding as maid of honor.
10. Lengthening my life.
11. Wearing high boots.
12. Surfing.
13. Wearing heels.
14. Running a half marathon.
15. Wearing skirts, shorts, tank tops, etc.
16. Taking yoga and martial arts.
17. Belts.

That's a good starting list. I'm sure I'll add things. As of tomorrow, I'm following Weight Watchers (online), and trying to eat smaller meals. Exercise will be softball and walking.

I'll have my revenge!
